Watch Servicing

A luxury watch requires expert maintenance to uphold its precision and longevity. From full overhauls to battery replacements, our Service Centre offers tailored care for each timepiece based on its unique engineering complexity.

Service intervals depend on usage. Generally, a comprehensive service every four to five years ensures the timepiece continues to perform at its highest standard.

Strap & Bracelet Services

The right strap is a continuation of the watchmaker’s original vision. In line with this philosophy, Chatham Luxury Watches offers a curated selection of straps from our partner brands, with the option for bespoke orders upon request.

Our services also include bracelet resizing, clasp servicing, link adjustments, and material cleaning and care. Every service is thoughtfully designed and provided to protect each timepiece with genuine respect for its legacy

Watch Polishing

Our trained technicians employ brand-approved procedures to care for each timepiece. Surface scratches on the case and bracelet are carefully refined, with attention to preserving the watch’s unique contours, finishes and structural integrity.

Whether crafted from stainless steel, gold or platinum, our skilled technicians apply material-specific methods to enhance its overall appearance. Each watch undergoes a final inspection before it is returned, ready to be worn with pride.

Intervention

A complete overhaul is not required on all occasions. Certain repairs and adjustments fall outside the scope of a Complete Movement Service and are offered as individual interventions at our Service Centre.

Movement Intervention

Whether mechanical or quartz, a watch movement is the heart of a timepiece. Over time, shock or exposure to moisture can disrupt its performance.

At our Service Centre, we:

  • Diagnose irregularities using specialist equipment
  • Disassemble and inspect the movement for worn or damaged parts
  • Replace or repair components using genuine parts
  • Lubricate and reassemble to brand specifications
  • Verify performance through timing tests and simulated wear

Standalone Intervention

At our Service Centre, brand-certified technicians offer reliable movement services using authentic components, ensuring the timepiece remains intact even as years pass. 

These services are not part of a complete movement service but can be performed individually or alongside other work such as:

  • Crystal replacement using brand-authorised components
  • Bracelet & clasp repairs

What brands do you service ?

Chatham Luxury Watches is the authorised service provider for Rolex, OMEGA, Cartier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Chopard and Tudor. The services comply with brand-specific guidelines.

For quartz watches, we recommend replacing the battery every 12-18 months, depending on usage. This prevents the risk of battery leakage and damage to other parts.

It depends on the frequency of use and the model. But as a general rule of thumb, we recommend a full servicing every 4-5 years.

Our technicians are certified and trained by the brands we represent. This ensures your watch receives the highest level of care, using manufacturer-approved techniques and genuine parts.

All parts used in our Service Centre are sourced directly from the official brand manufacturers.

We offer servicing for timepieces from our partner brands. As an authorised service centre, we can service your watch even if you didn’t purchase it from us.

This depends on the specific service you request. For instance, a complete overhaul takes about 4-6 weeks. Following an initial inspection, we can provide you with an estimated timeline.

A 12 to 24 month warranty is offered on complete services. However, this strictly depends on the brand. This covers workmanship and any replaced components.
